Overview
Black Canyon Trail offers 44.6 miles of intermediate-level riding through one of Iron County's most scenic canyon systems. The trail features a mix of rocky terrain, forest roads, and open desert sections with stunning canyon views throughout.

What to Expect
The trail is rated intermediate due to some rocky sections and moderate elevation changes. Most stock UTVs and ATVs can handle the terrain with careful driving. The loop can be completed in 4-6 hours depending on stops.
Getting There
From Cedar City, head west on Highway 56 for approximately 15 miles to the main trailhead. GPS coordinates are provided in the GPX download.
Tips from D&P Performance
- Bring plenty of water - no services on the trail
- Check weather conditions before heading out
- Cell service is limited in the canyon
- Best visited in spring or fall for cooler temperatures
